My ❤️ Horse

I had always been looking through ads for horses for years- now the time has finally come when I had the time and ? Money for having my own. I always had a fondness for Morgans because of a friend of mine who had one and introduced me to the breed. Small , sturdy and versatile for almost any discipline. I saw the ad for a 12 year old Morgan only a couple states away- well trained and could even drive a carriage! We made the trip and tried her out. She was a lovely horse. I didn’t want to make an impulse decision so went home to think this over. My husband was on board and had been taking riding lessons in the past couple years. Not sure he fully realized the expense of having a horse. My youngest still had one year left in college- but was I going to find a well trained , affordable Morgan again?!

We drove back three weeks later and rode her again. We even had a short driving lesson! I decided to buy her. Now, to find a place to board her- and quickly!!!
